Vegas PBS Teacherline offers high-quality online professional development. These graduate-level courses are approved by the Nevada Department of Education and the Clark County School District. All 30hr 2-credit courses meet the requirements for salary growth and fulfilling requirements for NV Highly Qualified Status. Refine your skills with these web-based learning modules.

Video Streaming from Vegas PBS is a free resource that gives CCSD students and teachers access to more than 5,000 full-length and 50,000 clips of core-curriculum, standards-based video programs instantly - over the school districts Wide Area Network (WAN). Stream PBS programs on your computer, or student computers.



 
Vegas PBS ONE Place Vegas PBS One PlaceEnter
Vegas PBS One Place allows teachers to manage their online educational content more effectively, so instead of spending time navigating multiple interfaces you may search for educational content from --- "One Place".  

One Place is integrated with a growing list of K-12 online service providers, Vegas PBS Video Streaming, EBSCO; Thinkfinity; MediaNet (11,000 Educational DVD's/VHS); PBS Teachers; and Local Content (CCSD educator posted powerpoints, video segments, lesson plans, and more).

Ready To Learn Ready To Learn (RTL)
RTL is a PBS project that helps children ages 0-8 gain the skills — especially literacy — which they need to be successful in school and life. Vegas PBS RTL focuses approximately 90% of its outreach efforts on Clark County School District (CCSD) Title I schools. Vegas PBS helps young learners develop the skills necessary for success.

EMC is a full service educational media distribution center that services schools and teachers throughout the Clark County School District. Get copies of PBS programs for your classroom.


Described and Captioned Media Program

Described and Captioned Media Program (DCMP) 


DCMP provides resources for Nevada's hearing/visually impaired population. DCMP is supported by the U.S. Department of Education and provides resources for Nevada’s deaf/hard of hearing (HH) population. DCMP now offers video-described media for persons who are blind and visually impaired.

Vegas PBS is working to expand its Descriptive Video Services for blind and visually impaired students in the Clark County School District.
Literacy learning kits are being designed for use by blind and visually impaired students and their parents.
