Virtual High School (VHS) is a comprehensive high school distance education program which offers students instruction through internet-based classes. Students take classes online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to earn their high school diplomas while gaining valuable technological skills.
Students who attend Virtual High School may enroll as full-time or part-time/concurrent students. Full-time students take all their classes at Virtual High School and can earn a diploma when they complete all Clark County School District high school graduation requirements. Part-time/concurrent students attend their home school and may enroll in up to three classes per semester at Virtual High School.
Students who want to accelerate their academic program, want to take courses not offered at their home school, have scheduling conflicts, want a different learning environment or are close to graduation and want to make up one or two classes can benefit from taking Virtual High School courses.
