In honor of Earth Day, the leading nonprofit in school garden and hydroponics programs, Green Our Planet, will host the Spring 2025 Giant Student Farmers Market on Tuesday, April 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on The Lawn at Downtown Summerlin.
Guests will enjoy fresh produce and handmade crafts from over 520 CCSD students from 52 different schools, spanning grades K-12.
Held twice a year, the Giant Student Farmers Market gives young Farmpreneurs the opportunity to sell produce and goods from their school gardens while gaining hands-on experience in STEM, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and conservation. Through Green Our Planet’s programming, students gain valuable real-world business skills and help promote healthy eating and environmental stewardship in their communities.
