Kizuna Japanese Spring Festival, which takes place annually on the first Saturday of April, provides an enlightening Japanese cultural experience to the public. It's hosted by Kizuna Japanese Society — a community-oriented, non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to serving the community of Las Vegas by providing access and support for philanthropic, educational, and community activities and services. 

Kizuna Japanese Society was established in 2011 by volunteers to create a network of Japanese and Japanese-American seniors in the Las Vegas area to provide mutual assistance for one another.  

Activities at the 8th Annual Festival include:

  • Tea Ceremony
  • Calligraphy
  • Origami, an iconic object of "Kizuna"
  • Music, including Taiko and Koto
  • Dance, including Yosakoi
  • Martial Arts
  • Kimono Experience: Dress in kimono for a photo opportunity
  • Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement
  • Sake tasting
