March 30: Sounds of Hawai'i: Kaumakaiwa & Kulaiwi

Experience the Sounds of Hawai'i with an unforgettable evening of modern and traditional music and dance from the islands.
Performers include Kaumakaiwa & Kulāiwi featuring Kawika Kahiapo, Lehua Kalima, Shawn Pimental and Pono Fernandez, hula. Individually, they are accomplished and talented. Together they create the magical sound of Indigenous Hawai‘i.
Arrive early to explore "Our 9th Island: Art of the Hawaiian Diaspora," an exhibition celebrating the art and culture of the Hawaiian community on the mainland. Experience a diverse range of artworks that beautifully capture the connections, stories and experiences of Hawaiians living in Southern Nevada.
Opening reception begins at 4 p.m. in the gallery, where a skilled lei maker will guide you in creating your own lei to wear to the concert!

This is an outdoor venue. Seating is general admission (first come, first served). No outside alcohol or coolers are allowed on the plaza or in the amphitheater.
Free parking is available at the Water Street Parking Garage, located at 235 S. Water St. directly across from Water Street Plaza.
Vehicles may enter the garage's main entrance from Water Street (during events with non-Water Street closures) or Texas Avenue. Please check the event's webpage for information on any applicable road closures.
