LAS VEGAS – Vegas PBS’ public affairs program Nevada Week has been renewed for a second season. Nevada Week airs Fridays at 8 p.m. on Vegas PBS Channel 10 and will be streamed simultaneously on Facebook beginning with the Season 2 premiere on July 12, 2019.

Nevada Week, a half-hour round-table conversation hosted by Kipp Ortenburger, examines current and emerging local issues, as well as stories that are compelling and critical to Nevada. The show covers a wide range of important topics such as health care, politics, arts and culture, education, economic development, family income, social services, economics, and more.

Season 1 covered Nevada’s most important issues with expert analysis on Nevada’s ballot questions, live coverage of Governor Steve Sisolak’s first State of the State address, resources for victims of the October 1 tragedy, and more.

Season 2 will explore the 2020 Election, sex trafficking, affordable housing, gender equity in the workforce, climate, and more. Sitting around the Nevada Week table, at any given time, are business leaders, journalists, public officials, and victims and advocates from a wide range of community organizations.
