Our Chest of Dreams

Dreams come true for special needs performers in Las Vegas.

Dreams come true for special needs performers in Las Vegas. Las Vegas nonprofit Life Long Dreams is on a mission to make the arts accessible to people with special needs. Their motto? “My only special need is to perform.” Former Las Vegas resident Cathy Warriner started Life Long Dreams nearly ten years ago. Her son was a quiet and shy special needs child who was good at singing. Singing brought out his confidence and charming personality.

Today, President Danny Titus and Life Long Dreams director and professional singer Genevieve Dew are helping other special needs students practice their own forms of artistic expression. The organization they lead offers a variety of arts, dance and performing arts classes. Every year in the face of limited resources and other challenges, Danny, Genevieve and dedicated Life Long Dreams volunteers give their students a chance to get up on stage in an annual showcase.
